Shuttle Fall in Space
Undulating Fall
Through observing papers fall and manipulating them to attempt control of the fall, a shuttle emerged. An analysis of the shuttle's fall through videos and animations led to an understanding of the space of the fall. The geometry of the shuttle and geometry of the shuttle's fall in space contained a matrix that developed a building. The building is a house for a shuttle maker with a curved wall dividing the spaces and anchoring the staircases. The floor slabs do not touch the curved wall emphasizing the element creating the space. The spaces contain exhibition areas, a screening room, an office, a residential space, and an area for shuttles to be dropped and observed clearly.
